The City Commission may compel the attendance and testimony of witnesses and the production of books and records by issuance of a
subpoena.
Except for the purpose of inquiry, or investigation, the City commission shall be involved with administrative and management operations solely through the City
Manager.

So there you have it. Unless a majority of the commission decide they need to audit what they approved, it will never be done. Unless all three seats up for election are won by people who want to get to the truth of the matter, the questions will not even be asked. When the hell IS this guy gonna retire anyway? He's leaving behind a legacy. No matter WHAT good he did as city manager, the SME fiasco will be lotten's legacy! What a way to go down in history. Maybe we can take some of the money and build a statue of jonny next to ol' Paris Gibson down there in the park. A nice statue of jonny flipping the bird to the people of Great Falls. No vote jonny. You see, that's one of the great things about Europe. There are statues everywhere. Parents walk around with their children and they talk about the history of each statue. In this way, children get a valuable history lesson. A statue of jonny with a one finger salute could serve to remind our young people of just what happens when you allow and outta control city government! Just a thought. And I would fully endorse a statue of no vote jonny with a raised finger!

LKAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
