It's all context.

I took my dog for a walk tonight, and Great Falls is a perfect community. Absolutely.

At least from the context of a guy taking his dog for a walk, it couldn't be beat. It was 50 degrees, perfect, the air was clear, the stars dragging my attention out of me, a mist of lilac, and no fear of crime, war or terror.

If I want to choose from 12 department stores instead of 3, it sucks. Likewise with 30 chain restaurants instead of 12.

But springtime, clean air, clean livin', there's just no beating this place.

Amen -- I drove home from the base (to Fox Farm area) at about 9:00 pm this evening, along River Road, with the windows down, and it was absolutely perfect. The breeze, the temperature, the geese, the river, people walking along the river (maybe you were one of them!), no traffic...heavenly.

I second that! I just finished my move back to GF after a year teaching on the Crow reservation. I loved the quiet there but my going away present from the community was for them to break into my house and steal everything I had left (including my food). At least I know I can count on my neighbors & GF finest in a time like that.

I also spent these last few days walking along th eriver & in gibson park...nothing like the baby geese and kids to put a smile back on your face. I love spring here!!
