I apologize.
I have to apologize. I obtained permission from my client to do a day by day, play by play of the trial, and I actually started to do one. There are two problems, though. First, I'll go ahead and tell you that we lost the case and, while I thought I took it in stride, it has bothered me more than I thought. So, I just don't have the stomach to write about it right now. Second, there are various post-trial proceedings that can occur, and until those time deadlines elapse, my reciting of events would have to be so carefully calculated not to hinder any post-trial interests of my client that it would be incredibly boring. Thus, I think I will write my impressions down privately and then hopefully with the benefit of the passage of time I can provide some true insight into the process later.
Also, I have suffered some other business and personal setbacks of late, and I find it is much easier to lay around and wallow in my misery than draft some sort of angry screed about government or some such. Thus, I have not been posting much.
I would appreciate it if you would check back periodically, and would understand it if you choose not to do so.

*hugs* I am sorry to hear things are not going your way right now. It will get better. Please write, I enjoy reading your blog.
No worries, gguy -- take your time, focus on the Big Stuff, and post when you can...we'll be here. Best wishes.
My condolences. As a defender of the wrongly accused citizen, I lose far more often than I win. But I learn more from my losses than my victories.
Just remember my guiding principle: This too shall pass.
Don't wallow - unless you really have to. See you later.
Keep your powder dry, your pecker hard, and the world will turn.
Checking in, Gguy.
Yo...you doing OK, gguy?
