The FEC is considering regulation of 'blogs. No way.
Particularly offensive to me is the following: "You don't want to force every blogger to go out and get a lawyer. At the same time, you don't want the Internet to become an avenue by which corporations, labor unions, wealthy individuals can pour a lot of money into political campaigns," said Larry Noble, executive director of the Center for Responsive Politics."
No, "you" don't want some busybody named Larry Noble dictating what you can or cannot do on your own website. Doesn't this seem to be the growing trend these days? Everybody everywhere wants to tell everyone else what to do.

It sounds horrific -- but what keeps me from getting too worked up about it is that I truly don't see how it can possibly be done. I hope.
