You don't say...

Ok, let me get this straight. Karl Rove made the comment a few days ago that "[c]onservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 in the attacks and prepared for war; liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers."

Regardless of the fact that some liberals did, in fact, suggest that terrorism is a law enforcement problem, not a national security problem, after Rove's remarks the Democratic elite responded immediately, led by their newly anointed leader, Hillary Clinton: "I would hope that you and other members of the administration would immediately repudiate such an insulting comment from a high-ranking official in the president's inner circle."

Interestingly, though, yesterday on the radio I heard a newsclip from a Hillary interview where she was asked to comment on Sen. Turban Durbin's outrageous remarks about Gitmo. She persistently refused to comment. (I could not find a transcript online, but I'll keep looking.)

Thus, the woman who would be Commander in Chief is quick to rise in defense of "liberals," but refuses to comment in defense of our military men and women when they are compared to the Gestapo or the KGB?

The Durbin element of the Democratic party (which is most of the Democratic Party) is getting it's bell rung because of his stupid remarks. And they're looking for anything to deflect attention away from that. The fact they're squealing so much shows how stupid Durbin's remarks were.
