Multiculturalism

Here's an interesting piece about the rioting in France.

I always considered it strange that after our society went through such convulsive upheaval to integrate minorities into the mainstream of our culture, many of these same minorities are now segregating themselves, witness all black dormitories at universities, women's studies programs, etc.

I think that whenever one sacrifices his or her identity to 'the group,' a sort of mob rule mentality will ultimately prevail.
