Praise is Due
We are very fortunate that our local County Attorney, Brant Light, does what many county attorneys do not: he attends parol hearings.
And in the case of two Great Falls murderers, it paid off. Due to Mr. Light's diligence, these two murderous thugs will remain in jail. Let's only hope he is still our county attorney the next time they come up for parol.

Years ago, I saw the autopsy photos from the Austad murder. Easily the most savage killing I have ever seen (not that I've seen that many, but with a family involved in law enforcement over the years, I've seen a few.)
Austad should never receive parole, even though he is incapacitated. That kind of savagery doesn't belong outside the walls.
