Oh come on...

This piece appeared in the Tribune on Saturday:

Whom do YOU trust?
A Gallup poll released this week asked people to rate their level of confidence toward a number of institutions.

The military came out on top, with some 73 percent saying they have a "great deal" or "quite a lot" of confidence in the armed forces. Organized religion didn't fare so well. Only 52 percent felt similarly positive.

And newspapers? No comment. But at least we rated higher than Congress and HMOs.


Isn't that something? They're willing to take a shot at everyone else, but their numbers are "no comment." Nice.
