Speaking of city management, the City of Great Falls Water Utility 2006 Water Quality Report shows that the city’s water supply tested positive last year for Cryptosporidium (run this nasty parasite through Google) and states, “We encourage immuno-compromised individuals to consult their doctors....” Since its symptoms might be hard to distinguish from norovirus, and since it can be life-threatening to some (this last per the report itself), do you think either the city, the Tribune, or local health care providers might be paying attention? And how likely are immuno-compromised people likely to be reading the last sentence of a water quality report that receives little publicity?
