Things that make you say "Hmmm!"
An interesting observation from an email I received:
I wonder how the city can be so HARD NOSED on the contract for the dog pound, while it wanders aimlessly about without a care that the city and SME have NO contract, and it's only how much money and risk????Hmmm.

Maybe it is pick the battles you think you can win or a good defence is one heck of an offence ???? Either way it makes you wonder ~
Probably more along the lines of "every dog must have its day" and every owner must pay a fine if it was a good day.
Which is an easier, faster source of revenue? Ambulance (fee) chasing? Or, "Here, kitty, kitty, kitty?"
It's easier to wander around when you are in a situation you have no direct control over....
Perhaps City Officials need an expert watchdog like Ms. LaMott to be hard nosed on the SME contracts... hmmmm
