Podcast

I have been invited to participate in the now-famous Small Town-Long Streets podcast hosted by none other than Craig from Montana Politics. The show will be tomorrow night at 9:00.

He has the topic as "fighting City Hall." Maybe the topic should be "Getting One's Butt Kicked by City Hall!"

Wednesday, September 5, 2007, 9:00 p.m., MST.

Anyway, I hope you'll listen.

"Now-famous" might be a bit of a stretch, but I'm sure looking forward to having you on!

A very informative and good interview.

I appreciated the comments made about the near lack of attention the Commission is paying to remarks made from those whom the Commission serves and the resulting animosity between the two groups.

Hopefully, with the retirement of Mr. Lawton and the election in November, the distrust and suspicion currently swirling about the city will come to an end.

Interesting interview, especially the cautious lawyer speak.

Hey! I'm a cautious lawyer, what do you expect?

Seriously, though, what part of the interview are you referring to in that comment?

Loved the interview. You and I may not agree on a lot of things, (though I think we are probably closer than either of us know...), but your experience with the Great Falls City Government sounds scarily familiar...

I admit to not having a spent a lot of time reading your blog (call it old biases...) but I have rectified that situation since listening to your interview. As I said before, we really need to compare notes...

Politics makes strange bedfellows, Moorcat. (Just skip over the political stuff!)

GeeGuy: what part of the interview are you referring to

*not use loaded language
*Interesting connections
*Lack of knowledge or lack of interest of the public to their benefit
*How do you shrug your shoulders at *Noting that nothing is signed....
*On my blog there have been suggestions of wrong doing ... I'm certainly not going to go there...
*it's interesting how... yet everything seems to be closed..."

You appear to be giving commissioners every opportunity to make things right if, indeed, they are doing things from a position of ignorance.

GeeGuy said...

I hope you perceive that as my trying to be fair.

Because I am.

Cartwheels and bending over backwards to be fair.

(can you hear the commissioners rolling their eyes?)

P.S. Thank your law partner and family for the great latitude allowed to your passion in dedicating time and resources to exposing what appears to be a grossly ignorant-based debaucle.
