Susan Kahn-Trib Question 1

It would truly be an honor to earn your vote for mayor of Great Falls. I am running because I share your concerns about our future and the need to preserve Great Falls’ best values and assets.

To be successful, government leadership must be fully accountable to the people. We have lost this in Great Falls. Lack of oversight leaves citizen’s questions and concerns not adequately addressed. I’m a strong leader and not afraid to ask tough questions or seek out the answers. As mayor, I will see to it that our city officials respond to our citizens in a respectful and timely manner. It is your city and they are there to serve you.

With a Bachelor degree in Business and over 20 year’s professional experience from procurement to sales, I have worked with people and financial details most of my adult life. The city’s business requires sound business judgment of complex details, often at a fast pace. Of all the candidates, my background has best prepared me for this key oversight role on the commission. I will work hard to earn your trust and promise to look out for our best interests. Together with strong public involvement, we can make Great Falls the best place.

Thank you and I look forward to meeting you.

"strong public involvement". I like that. How bout this slogan, "More public involement, LESS cop involvement"! Let's take the cops outta the city council meetings and put the public back in! And let's put the public back in the decision making process regarding the giant stink stack proposal! WHY NO VOTE? WHY NO VOTE? WHY NO VOTE? We want to vote on the most horrendous eco disaster to ever hit GF. BTW, great story on the effects of mercury in the Fibune today. Fiftieth annervisary of Minamata, Japan. Remember all the deformed kids? Guess that's what primadonna and her merry men want for GF.

Hats off to all the new candidates in the race...the fundamental issue is 'open government' and
all other issues proceed from that....

How do you feel about working with those stooges siting on the commission? What will happen when you ask the questions that forces them to think?

First move will be to switch the cops out for paramedics, I see a stroke or two in the making.

like anon 1:50, free at last! go get em

anon, "keep law enforcment in the meetings"? That comment shows an ignorance beyond belief. Why? Why in the hell would you be for having chief dorky and his plainclothesed goons in the meetings? And WHY IN THE HELL should primadonna determine what is and is not an arrestable offense? Doesn't chief dorky and his goon squad recognize a crime when the SEE one? I mean, they ARE supposed to be goons trained in law enforcement!! Why does dorky abdicate his responsibliity to primadonna? Seems that you haven't thought this through, anon. Or actually thought much at all! Look, anon, I have been to probably a ZILLION public meetings WAY more contentious than GF city council meetings. And guess what. NO GOONS AROUND! So, you're way off base, pal. Dorky's goons are there for intimidation only! We don't NEED/WANT no goons in our PUBLIC city council meetings! This is STILL America in case you've forgotten! And since it IS still America, WHY NO VOTE????

Show Dona the door.

I'm worried though. With three candidates running, donna might split the vote and sneak back in. That would be tragic. And it's sickening and embarassing to see donna running around making pronouncements as if she were OWED the job of mayor. She's not! The voters of GF were sold a bill of goods with donna. Time to remedy that mistake! p.s. I see that even ANOTHER M.D. has a letter in the Fibune today about the health effects of Lotten's Folly. Hmm. I wonder if primadonna will have chief dorky arrest this individual if he shows up to testify! Donna and dorky surely know more than EVERY FREAKIN' PHYSICIAN in town! Let's dump donna.

At last week's Agenda Meeting Donna said about the manufactoring of Solar Pannels, "It is hugely poluting." I'd like a little more information on that.

All hail dona the engineer? What's her degree in IF ANY?

Course to her in her expert judgement, Mercury from HGS will only be a " drop in th bucket".
