Excellent Question
This guy asked an excellent question: "So what is your reccommended plan to turn the city around and bring the young people to Great Falls or does someone have an intelligent plan that you support?"
I am going to be indisposed for the next couple days due to the press of business, but I'm glad you asked.
I have some ideas that I'll throw out for discussion. And no, they don't involve more federal money.

It looks to me that if the Air Force is willing to give up a significant portion of the base to industry, namely a CFL Plant, then why not make the whole place an Industrial/Commercial Park complete with its own runway for the lear jets? Had this been offered to GE just maybe they would be here now istead of Billings. We all know it will be gone some day anyway (Malmstrom), why not plan for that NOW!.....JT
Yes, I agree, but like he said yesterday: what do we have to do to bring in the 24-30 year old college grads? think green. think tech. what do we have to do? if we put that first, the rest will work itself out. lower crime, better schools, more parks, more perks... I think a good first step would be a change of faces in city leadership.
...and fire much of the city staff along with them. Lawton's flunkies newer raised a concern for the wrongdoing. Anything for a paycheck.
Get rid of the socialist mentality of telling businesses how they have to bend to the will of a few socialist policy mongers. That'll help.

Can it have everything to do with eliminating the need for taxpayers to throw more money at the problem?....also includes not throwing city, county, state tax dollars into it either.
