More Howard Dean

Quoting the Great Falls Tribune on Howard Dean:

Dean, a physician, drew his biggest round of applause when he talked about health care, noting that General Motors recently announced a $2 billion investment in Windsor, Ontario, rather than the United States, because the company can't afford to pay the health insurance for more American workers.

Canada, like most developed countries in the world, has a government-funded health insurance program that ensures basic health care for all citizens.

So, Democrats believe that you and I should pay more in taxes so that we can provide health insurance benefits to the workers at big corporations like GM? Isn't that "corporate welfare?" Aren't the Donkeys against corporate welfare?

Heck, now I am really confused!

Only the Trib would wet their pants over Dean. The guy has been blasted all over the country for his "style" as DNC chairman. I hope the Dems keep him on. Then the Trib will give us yet another biting and insightful story on how the GOP won the 2008 general election.

Great blog I hope we can work to build a better health care system as we are in a major crisis and health insurance is a major aspect to many.
