The Rough Draft of the First Draft of History
The Tribune says the new zoning code is "grass-roots government at its best." I don't know, maybe that's true.
But if, as has been suggested (here) that Mayor Gray stands to personally benefit from the zone changes, isn't that something that we would expect our local paper to investigate for us?

Don't hold your breath waiting for the Tribune to "look" into anything that might be a negative for the City and its minions. Rich Ecke is taking over the civic beat at the end of this month, and he might be a bit better about it, but again, he is a "corporate" guy, and takes his marching orders from the editorial group. As we all know, according to them the city can do no wrong, Explore the Big Sky was a huge success, and there really IS a money tree!
