Up or Out, revisited.

I wrote a post last week called "Up or Out." It generated some interest locally.

It reminds me of a time some years ago when I attended a retreat at a dude ranch in southwest Montana. For some reason, most of the cowboys at the ranch were college-aged kids from New Zealand.

On a horseback ride one morning, one of the kids told us a ghost story about some long-forgotten outlaw in the area. One of the riders asked him if was true.

"If it ain't true, it oughtta be..."
