Is it just me?

I was thinking about the minimum wage issue the other day, and I juxtaposed it onto the whole SOS/TABOR thing.

Now, I don't know if it is just me, but as I thought about it I came to the conclusion that the left's position on these issues is a little bit schizophrenic. At least until I remembered that the left believes that the government is all-powerful, all-knowing, and beneficent.

In other words, the folks on the left (or here) have no problem with the government interjecting itself into private business transactions, i.e. employer/employee relationships, to impose restrictions on the transactions and thereby increase the expenses for one of the parties. Yet these same people (or here) vehemently object to the people interjecting themselves into governmental transactions to impose restrictions on those transactions, i.e. how much the government can spend, and thereby decrease the expense for one of the parties (the taxpayers).
All hail the bureaucrats!

Sorta like what Michael Savage tells his listeners everyday: Liberalism is a mental disorder.
