Soup Kitchens

Seems they tried to shut down a soup kitchen that was feeding the homeless, because it wasn't 'clean' enough. Officials apparently overlooked the fact that the soup kitchen was cleaner than the "dumpster or trash can."

Stossel points out that the government meant well, but "rule-makers tend to forget that their rules have unintended consequences. And, as James pointed out, eating out of dumpsters is more dangerous than eating at a church without a three-compartment sink."

Unintended consequences? Sounds familiar.
