City Golf Courses

This issue has paled of late in light of the coal plant follies, but Free Thought has a nice piece up expressing some hope for our City golf courses. Caution is the watchword, though: "Cutting out long term employees, adding a new computer system, and trying to run things with a smaller staff of young, untrained employees is a recipe for disaster. And, especially at Anaconda Hills, things are not running too smoothly yet."

The City has also imposed a $5.00 "reservation fee" on prime weekend tee times.

The jury is still out on these changes, but you have to recognize the City for trying to improve a bad situation.
