New Post

I wish I had something thoughtful to say, I really do.

I don't.

Let me make one small, teeney tiny little point to my friends in great falls:

You ain't there. You ain't nowhere. Relax. Stop taking yourself so damn serious. All the cool people are elsewhere. We're podunk (albeit pretty nice folks) people in a podunk town. So the next time you have an idea about a new 'ordinance' to beautify or improve great falls, stop. We don't need it.

It's a good place to live and if we don't have live and let live, we have nothing.

And there are no coal plants where I am. Yet the lights still seem to work.

Aloha.

(P.S. the lack of caps was intended)

"You ain't nowhere." What a relief. I think that means I am somewhere. Which physics would probably confirm.

So, GeeGuy, how much do you drink before a 3 am post to get up the courage to insult all your readers?

Or is that just the easy way to fill space since Hawkeye has to go back to work and I have been a bad sub?

Sure hope it doesn't mean your vacation has left you grumpy. That would be sad.

He's probably just poked himself with the umbrella in his frou-frou drink, that's why he's grumpy! That and he realizes he shoulda been fishing!

Party. Right. Here.

I had to read this post a couple of times. I like it. Kind of has a Dean Martin/Jimmy Buffett influence. GeeGuy is just laying it out there. I have heard that the best rock songs were written when people were letting loose. The same may be true of great quotes.

"Let me make one small, teeney tiny little point to my friends in great falls:....It's a good place to live and if we don't have live and let live, we have nothing." (GeeGuy)

Here is the original:
“To live and let live, without clamour for distinction or recognition; to wait on divine love; to write truth first on the tablet of one's own heart - this is the sanity and perfection of living.” (Mary Baker Eddy American Founder of the religious faith known as Christian Science, 1821-1910)

Think time zones, Mensa children.

So, GeeGuy, with time zones you are actually getting drunk much earlier?
