I don't really care if you like Gingrich or not, he makes a legitimate point. Why are some people so apt to look for government solutions to problems? No wonder we're usually disappointed:

Start with the will to change. Most American politicians have lost that. Or, if they have it, they are hostage to advisers who don't have the will to change.
He is kind of funny. The fact that they hold employers responsible for verifying legal/alien status while the IRS remains purposefully unaware that it’s collecting multiple tax streams on the same number has always bothered me. Why isn’t it up to the IRS to come pick up people using a SSN fraudulently?
Because the IRS is out to take all funds, legal or illegal, makes no difference to the robbers.
